The Year 1 Team

The Year 1 students had a fantastic start to Term 4. The term was a short, but rather busy one for us. We worked very hard in all areas and had a lot of fun at our swimming program this term. Students were great sports and participated in the Tabloid Sports at the athletics carnival.

The Year 1 clubs ran rather smoothly this semester. Both 1A and 1B enjoyed working with both Ms Kilic and Ms Alici in their clubs.

This term we had swimming lessons at Kingswim. The students enjoyed going to the pools and learning some new swimming techniques, including how to be safe in the water.

Another great event that was organised by our sports committee was the annual athletics carnival. The students had a great day playing Tabloid Sports. It was an eventful day for them. They had fun cheering on their house colours. Well done to all the Year 1 students!

Overall, both 1A and 1B had a fantastic year. As teachers, we have watched them grow and become beautiful individuals. It makes us proud to see how far they have come and how much they have achieved. We would like to wish students a well-deserved holiday and all the best for the new academic year, 2019.
